How to Claim the Arizona QCO Credit

(DIY Tax Software)

  1. Open your Arizona state return in your tax software.

  2. Continue until you reach Tax Credits (often called Other Nonrefundable Credits).

  3. Select “Qualified Charitable Contributions (Form 321).”

  4. Enter the charity name, QCO code, and donation amount.

  5. Finish and file your return.

Good to know:

  • This is a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona taxes.

  • No federal itemizing required.

  • Unused credit can be carried forward up to 5 years.
